Enrolled Camper INFOWe are excited to welcome your child to our STREAM Camp! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please take note of the following important information regarding what your camper should bring and our daily drop-off and pick-up procedures. Also please take note of our Camper Showcase info and Special guests!
What Campers Need to Bring Food:· Full day Campers o Healthy Snack, Lunch & Drink (Candy is NOT recommended) · Half Day Campers Healthy Snack & Drink (Candy is NOT recommended) Backpack:Your child's backpack will stay at camp all week, so make sure to clearly label all items with your child's name. Here's what they should bring: · Large T-Shirt or Smock: Label with your child's name. · Change of Clothes: · *8 Required for PK – K Change clothes in a Ziploc bag with child's name. · Recommended for all campers. · Reusable Water Bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the day. o 2 empty 16 oz Plastic Recyclable Bottles with tight fitting lids. · Hat & Sunscreen: Protect from the sun. · Jacket or Sweatshirt: For cooler weather. · Towel: For various activities. Other Necessities:· Body Length Mat: Such as a yoga mat; no towels or blankets for this purpose. · PK & K Campers also need - a small pillow & blanket for naptime. · 2 empty 16 oz Plastic Recyclable Bottles with tight fitting lids. · Recyclable Items – Such as cereal boxes, bubble wrap, tissue paper, paper rolls, newspaper, etc. 3 liter soda bottles, water bottles. Daily Drop-off & Pick-up Procedures: We aim to make these processes as efficient and safe as possible. The first day drop off parents must bring the camper into the school. Please note that pick up the first day will be as described below for daily pickup. Drop-off: · Pull all they way up to the cone on the sidewalk in front of the school. · Please stay in your car. · Camp Employees will come to the driver’s window, ask for your camper's name, and assist with sign-in via our app. · After signing in, our staff will help your camper into camp. Pick-up: · Again, pull up to the cone on the sidewalk in front of the school and stay in your car. · Camp Employees will come to the driver’s window, ask for your camper's name, and assist with sign-out via our app. · After signing out, our staff will help your camper into the car. STREAM CAMP Special GuestsThis year we are excited to have some special guests for our campers. We are still scheduling speakers however we already have an engineer; an orthodontist and we have a local author set to meet with our campers in Grades 3 to 8 on July 24th. Please note that the author has agreed to sign copies of her books for campers! STREAM Camp Showcase:Mark your calendars for our weekly STREAM Camp Showcase! This is a special event where campers will have the opportunity to perform, demonstrate their skills, and showcase all the amazing things they’ve learned throughout the camp. · When: 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM - Friday of each camp week · Where: APR (location within the camp) Be prepared to take some projects & gifts home with you that day! Saint Raphael School is pleased to announce that we are once again offering our Summer Enrichment Program "2024 STREAM CAMP" We are extending the days and times yet keeping the cost low.
Saint Raphael School has received a grant to help keep the cost of this STREAM Camp affordable to all students! This popular summer program addresses summer learning gaps through a STREAM-focused camp-style week of activities. Saint Raphael Teachers are planning two fun-filled weeks packed with STREAM activities, including hands-on engineering projects, 3D printing, game coding, robotics, science experiments, music, and much more. Camp registration is open to any student who will be in grades: PK4 to 8th (in the fall) Each week of camp is a unique experience based on the "Praise and Worship Songs" our students perform during the school year. This year we also have a a HALF-DAY Option ONLY for PK4 campers. PK4 Campers can choose full day or half day. STREAM Camp teaches a variety of specialized courses including Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics. STREAM Camp classes are taught by experienced teachers! Every learning activity is tailored to students going into grades Pre K4 through 8 in the fall.
These activities will include programming, robotics, 3D design, electronics, science, and team challenges. In conjunction with Pope Francis’ Laudato Si letter, students will relate activities to help the environment and serve humanity to achieve a greater appreciation for “our common home.”

The STREAM Camp Experience Did you know . . .
STREAM Camp is non-profit and all proceeds are used hire real teachers and to purchase STREAM supplies and equipment which are then donated to the school. Here are some examples of Items purchased for and shared with teachers to use duing the school year.
